Review: Zoya Gie Gie

So I confess, another post where I took the photos ages ago! I’m still trying to make my way through the nail polishes I bought during my trips to the USA and Turkey.

Zoya Gie Gie is a polish I bought when I was in Utah. I was there on business for a week and made sure I had time to visit all the popular cosmetics shops in the evenings. This sweet little polish came from Ulta which is just the most amazingly overwhelming shop if you’re into nail polish!

Gie Gie is a very light, but heavily pigmented baby pink with a soft shimmer too it. Not metallic, just shimmery which is unusual I think. It only took two thin coats to get a full coverage of my nails which is just what I like! It doesn’t feel like you’re wasting loads of polish.

In hindsight, I’m not sure that this polish is so good for my skin tone, but I don’t have too many baby pinks so this will come in useful for some nail art more than anything.

Gie Gie is my first Zoya polish, as it is virtually impossible to buy in the UK, and although it is one of the more expensive brands in the US, it really hasn’t put me off buying one of their’s again. For starters, their range of polish colours alone is enough to keep me coming back for more!

My dad is off out to the USA on business in just a few weeks, and I am so tempted to ask him to pick me up a couple more!
