Advent Tutorial: Wreath

Morning all! It’s hump day! Halfway through the week and almost halfway through the advent calendar.

Behind door number eleven today is a pretty decorated wreath for your front door :)

This mani is one of the easiest so far. You’ll need red, white, gold and green polishes, plus a backing colour and a tiny paintbrush.

Advent Tutorial: Candle Nail Art Step 1

Start by painting your nails one colour all over. This blue is Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream.

Advent Tutorial: Wreath Nail Art Step 2

Take a dark green polish and paint a circle on your nail. Then create lots of spikes going into the circle and coming out of the circle, making the wreath shape. This green is Barry M Racing Green.

Advent Tutorial: Wreath Nail Art Step 3

Take a white polish and draw a bow at the top of the wreath. I used Barry M Matt White.

Advent Tutorial: Wreath Nail Art Step 4

Paint over your white bow with a red polish. Painting it white first, ensures that your bow is the brightest red it can be! This red is Barry M Blood Orange.

Advent Tutorial: Wreath Nail Art Step 4

Using a gold polish, paint curved lines onto the wreath to show tinsel being wrapped around it.

I painted my set red and gold as that’s how I’ve decorated my tree at home. Why not decorate yours like your tree?
